gone to doggy heaven

Today we had to make the awful and heart-wrenching decision to have our dog, jack, put to sleep. He had been off-colour for a couple of weeks, but always seemed to perk up, but he took a turn for the worse yesterday. Today the vet operated and found a large abdominal tumour which had perforated his gut, and which, sadly was inoperable. It was the kindest thing to do, but we both feel devastated. He was a huge part of our lives for the past 7 years, full of character and energy. He was 10 going on 2, and was always a puppy at heart. He had a great life with us, and will be missed VERY VERY much.

I'm so sorry to hear this, Sue. He's so sweet in the picture. Losing a beloved family pet is very hard. Hugs!

I am so sorry. Pets are family and it's hard. You need to think of all the good times, and know he is not in any pain!! He's having a grand old time in doggy heaven.
